Testing, Mold Remediation, & Mold-Free Certification

As a Florida licensed building contractor with a $5M Mold Insurance policy, we provide quality testing, remediation and certification services… all from a single contractor that you can rely on. A single source for all testing, remediation and certification services greatly reduces your cost and reduces turn around time as well. Inspection & Testing

  • Determine the cause and extent of both water damage and resulting mold & allergen growth.
  • Provide recommendations to eliminate both water problems and microbial (mold & allergen) problems.
  • Determine if microbial problems requires professional attention or can be performed by the home owner or handyman.
  • Testing is performed based on procedures recommended by the Indoor Environmental Standards Organization (www.IESO.org)
  • To avoid conflicts of interest, all samples are sent out via overnight courier to a local, accredited, independent lab for analysis. (www.AEMLInc.com)

Mold Remediation & Certification

  • Mold remediation work follows EPA recommended protocols to make sure there is no cross contamination.
  • Procedures are focused on mold removal and not simply killing the mold as dead mold does not lose its toxicity nor allergenicity.
  • As a member of the US Green Building Council, we only use cleaners and disinfectants that are safe and do not leave chemical residues.
  • We then decontaminate and seal remediated surfaces to prevent future growth.
  • The next step is air scrubbing followed by clearance testing and Mold & Allergen Free Certification along with warranty.

Caution: When you use separate companies for mold testing and for mold remediation … neither will provide an overall warranty or guarantee for the work. If they say they provide a warranty or guarantee, ask for a copy in writing.

Chemical-Free Air Duct Cleaning

Certified Mold & Allergen Free is experienced and qualified in standards pertaining to the inspection, cleaning and the chemical-free sanitizing of AC and air duct systems. The inspection of the AC system determines if there is mold contamination in the A/C ducts and/or in the air handler.

For AC duct inspection, we have state-of-the-art video inspection equipment that allows us to inspect hidden areas that may harbor mold growth.

If mold is detected, several options are available depending on the extent of the problem and the age of the system: Cleaning, encapsulation, or replacement of contaminated or damaged insulation materials.

Reconstruction

Certified Mold & Allergen Free is a full-service licensed general building contractor, providing all reconstruction services from start to finish. By providing comprehensive services, we are able to complete the reconstruction in a timely and cost effective manner.
